Gordhan Chavda - torch bearer with Carmel our volunteer co-ordinator.

Gordhan has been a volunteer and fundraiser for MertonVision for more than 25 years- and helped to raise funds for our roof, as well as more recently running in the London 10K

Today he showed the torch to everyone at our lunch club- did you know that it has 3 sides? One for each time the Olympics has been held in London. The 8,000 holes represent the 8,000 torch bearers and 8,000 miles it travelled around Britain on the way to the Olympic Park.
