new lunch club on Thursdays

With thanks to the local Guardian Newspaper for their financial help we are now offering a freshly cooked two course meal for £3.50 per person. Get here for 12.30pm, the bar is open to members and if you need transport let us know.

Our charges of approx £1 per hour help to cover our running costs. If you have financial difficulties please speak in confidence to the Manager.

 

MONDAY

Handicraft: 10.30 am - 2.30 pm

Charge: £1.11 per session for members / £1.60 per session for non members

Learn basketry and to string chairs, also projects such as toy making and other crafts.

 

TUESDAY

Coffee Morning: 10.30 am - 12.30 pm

Charge: £1.15 per session for members / £1.65 per session for non members

A place for people to meet, have a cup of tea/coffee and a chat with friends.

 

Flower Arranging: 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm

Charge: £22.95 per term for members / £27.30 per term for non members

WEDNESDAY

Art: 10.30 am - 12.30 pm

Tutor: Joyce Harper

Charge: £22.95 per term for members / £27.30 per term for non members

Different mediums are used to produce pictures and collages using silk, watercolours, oils and poster paints. We are very proud of the pictures that have been produced and which are displayed around the Centre.

 

Craft: 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm

Tutor: Joyce Harper

Charge: £22.95 per term for members / £27.30 per term for non members

Develop your creative skills using colour and texture.

 

Falls Prevention Exercise Class: 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm

Tutor: Christine Flood

Charge: £2.25 per session

This is a 'Falls Prevention' exercise class, a healthy living initiative for older people supporte by London Borough of Merton Social Services . This course runs throughout the year

 

Evening Social: 7.00 pm - 9.00 pm (fortnightly)

 

Charge: £1.15 per session for members / £1.65 per session for non members

This group meet every fortnight to socialise and play bingo.

Knitting: 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm

Charge: £1.15 per session for members / £1.65 per session for non members

 

A good way to spend an afternoon with friends making knitwear to order, baby clothes, pram covers etc.

FRIDAY

Music Appreciation: 10.30 am - 12.00 pm

Charge: £1.15 per session for members / £1.65 per session for non members

This group enjoy classical music. Different themes, composers and a variety of music is explored.

Games Afternoon: 2 pm – 4 pm

Charge: £2.25 per session

The games afternoon is up and running and we are looking for more members. If you would like to try your hand at bowls or darts, please come along. Transport is available at £4.20 for the return journey. If you are interested in attending just give us a ring on 8540 5446.
