visiting scheme offers people with visual impairment assistance
with;
- Reading
- Escorting to shops, appointments
etc.
- Personal correspondence
- Or just to have a regular visit
Home visitors are volunteers who are trained and managed by
MertonVision and undertake small tasks for people who are visually
impaired in the borough of Merton. This service is particularly
for those who live alone or who are housebound.
You can make a request for a volunteer
by contacting Samantha
Jarvis the Volunteer Co-ordinator,
who will visit you to discuss your needs.
As soon as a volunteer becomes available you will be introduced
to them at a mutually convenient time. You may know someone who
would benefit from this service.
